John Heaton is the Joselph L. Gidwitz Professor of Finance at the University of Chicago and is also a Research Associate of the National Bureau of Economics.  Heaton's research interests include asset pricing, optimal portfolio allocation and macroeconomics.  He consults on matters of security pricing, cost of capital and portfolio design.
