Robert LaLonde is a Professor at the Irving B. Harris Graduate School of Public Policy Studies, at the University of Chicago. He received his Ph.D. from Princeton University in 1985 and taught at the Graduate School of Business at the University of Chicago, and the College of Business at Michigan State University before joining the Harris School faculty in 1999. His research interests include program evaluation, education and training, immigration policy, worker displacement, unions and collective bargaining, and the consequences of incarceration.
